Who I am…
After more than two decades at the helm of arguably the largest hotel catering department in the world, I decided to go into business for myself.
Here’s my background, until 2023, I served as the Vice President of Catering & Convention Operations for The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas, overseeing conference management, catering, banquet operations, and meeting services. I was on the opening team of The Venetian (1999) and since participated in the opening of every major property for Las Vegas Sands Corp. in Macau, Singapore, and Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Prior to Las Vegas Sands, I worked for Young Presidents Organization (YPO) as an International Meeting Planner out of Dallas, Texas. I also worked for the legendary Loews Anatole Hotel, where I held he posts of Director of Catering and Assistant Director of Conference Management. I am a native Texan, and graduated cum laude from The University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
I bring a unique perspective to planning in that I’ve been a Meeting Planning, Consumer, and Supplier. Over the years I’ve learned that your event, meeting, or banquet, is only as good as your relationship with your suppliers. It’s with this approach in mind that I conduct myself.
I specialize in F&B Program Management, Special Event Creation, Event Budgeting, Meeting Management, and most importantly, as Stephen Sondheim wrote, "the art of making art - is putting it together… Bit by bit, putting it together… Piece by piece… Every moment makes a contribution, Every little detail plays a part. Having just the vision’s no solution, Everything depends on execution…”
